20th Century Fox and 7-11 have come up with a brilliant way to promote the upcoming Simpsons movie: they've turned twelve 7-11 stores around the country into Kwik-E-Marts. Fortunately, one of the twelve is in Burbank, a few blocks from our house! The kids and I paid a visit today to get some Squishees, and I took some cell phone pics...

Outstanding! The one in Northern CA is in Mt. View - just a few blocks away from where Dick works. Dick made a Kwik-E-Mark run, and bought pink donuts and Jolt Cola for his group!
He didn't have a camera with him, so I'm really happy to see your's!
He said that the employees actually dressed up at his - the store manager (who is Indian) was dressed up, introduced himself as Apu!
Hi Trina! I really wanted Krusty-Os but the Burbank store was out. There have been lines around the block for several days and I think they're just cleaned out. The shelves were full of plastic Simpsons cups -- and not too much else.
That's cool that they dressed up in Mt. View. I think the security guard here was dressed like Chief Wiggum, but otherwise nothing to report... the guy who sold us our "squishees" was just trying to ring people up as quickly as possible!
