We celebrated by spending the morning driving from Burbank to Sacramento, where Grammie had prepared a mini-party!

Camping!

Derek and Deacon went camping with a few church friends to Piru Creek the weekend of June 18th for some macho-guy roughing it father-son bonding.

The boys thought it would be hysterically funny to wrap up Deacon's head in toilet paper and pretend he'd sustained some sort of traumatic head injury. Mommy was not amused.

Molly's 8th Grade Graduation!

How exciting it was to see Molly, the little girl we used to take to McDonald's and force to watch Monday Night Football while trying to complete an unimaginable amount of first grade homework, graduate with honors from Luther Burbank Middle School.

Maren's Kindergarten Graduation!

Maren's class held a ceremony honoring their commencement to first grade on Sunday (June 6th)!

Instead of posting individual pictures this time, I put together a video slide show of the event featuring a very special song, which was recorded by Maren, Hope, Benjamin, Kylie, and Jacqueline. Enjoy!
