Spring Concert 2014!

This year's Spring Concert was a great event - here are some pics and video!

Maren rocks the trombone in Beginner Band!






Even The 'Rents got to perform! I posted the We Got the Beat video below, a few days ago.



It was especially exciting to see Maren play trombone, and to hear Deacon playing the drum kit, on Michael Jackson's BAD!!

TOMORROW is the last day of school. By all indications, Deacon and Maren will be promoted to 7th and 5th grades! Glad we have a whole summer ahead of us to get mentally prepared for THAT. :)

BREAKING NEWS: 3.8 Earthquake Westwood, CA

3.8 magnitude earthquake in Westwood felt here at AFB HQ by Deacon, not felt by anyone else.

Upon hearing Deacon's report of the quake, Maren immediately ran to the 'fridge, took out the whipped cream and said, "I'm celebrating surviving the quake."



The AFB will provide updates as the situation develops.

UPDATE 9:31 PM 6/1/14: USGS has just upgraded magnitude to 4.2.

Molly's Graduation!

We can't believe it, but MOLLY has graduated from High School!

We were privileged to join her and her family for her graduation ceremony at Burroughs High School on Thursday, May 29th.
