FULL EARTHQUAKE COVERAGE

Stay tuned to the AFB for complete coverage of TERROR QUAKE '08!
h
Mag 5.4 Chino Hills/Diamond Bar. 11:42 AM PDT. 37 miles east of Burbank. Lots of rolling/swaying!
h
g
Here's our report as of 5:30 p.m.:
g
All Alffs safe and accounted for.

* Derek at work in Burbank (Tower building - 19th floor)

* Terri & Maren at home, lots of swaying, nothing else notable except for water really sloshing in fish tank (fish are all okay)

* Deacon at camp at St. Paul's School, North Hollywood. He reports that he was in the music room and the TV started shaking, so they all went under the desks. Except he couldn't find an available space under the desks, but then it stopped, and everyone was okay.

He also reports that at lunchtime he ran around yelling, "An earthquake! We're all gonna die!" which was helpful, I'm sure.

Special thanks to Brent for the map image above!

Yesterday we had a lot of fun visiting Sydney and her mom Chris at their house in Carmichael. After playing and having lunch, we went to the fantastic Aerospace Museum of California at McClellan Park, formerly McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento. Special thanks to Chris for taking all the pics!
