Pre-Birthday Fun at Chevy's
We're enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's visit this weekend, and today we went to Chevy's after church. Deacon made it known to the staff that his birthday is in two days, so they kindly sang to him and gave him a sombrero.

An Italian hair salon... in Burbank!
Our beloved hairstylist Ana has just opened her own beautiful salon, Toscana. Deacon got his hair cut today for the first time in the new place, so naturally I took cell phone pics!

We hadn't been eating nearly enough lately, so I chose Claim Jumper in Roseville for my birthday lunch. Maren always likes to color while we wait for the food!

The AFB Sacramento Bureau is reporting heavy rain, wind, and general chaos from the Big Storm of '08 in our state capitol this afternoon. From Desk Fair Oaks, Here are some pictures of Gramps as he works feverishly to save his house. The power has been out, the fence is falling down, and the trees are dropping limbs. Worst of all, Cable TV has been out or working intermittently. Even Uncle Chris is concerned, getting up to look out the window now and then.
