Dance Fever

We went to the St. Paul's Family Dance tonight and stayed out until... drumroll... after 9 PM!
f
The theme was "Surfin' 60s", and Deacon and Maren partied like it was 1999. They didn't miss a beat, doing the Conga, Limbo, and Cha Cha Slide like old pros.
f
Derek and Terri were especially impressed that the older kids seemed to know every word of the songs off the Grease soundtrack!!

UPDATE 2/23, 8:50 a.m. - Fi-Fi has been found! Even though I had already looked for her in the car, Derek looked again and found her in a place he described as "pretty obvious." OOPS! We're just happy Fi-Fi is back in the house where she belongs.
f
Baby Fi-Fi has disappeared.

We will provide updates as information becomes available.

Maren, Mismatched

Maren went to Afternoon Preschool today, showing her school spirit in her mismatched ensemble of a flower headband, a flag shirt, black Christmas Tree undershirt and pink skirt.

She decided that wearing mismatched shoes just went too far, so matching rain boots completed the outfit.

Mismatch/Bad Hair Day

Continuing the Spirit Week festivities...

Today is Mismatch/Bad Hair Day!

Deacon's wacky ensemble includes heavily gelled hair, his shirt buttoned on the wrong buttons, a blue tie, his dad's vintage 80's suspenders, and his dad's vintage 90's cargo shorts. He's also wearing mismatched socks and shoes on the wrong feet.
