Return of the Jedi!

Sorry about the delay. Let's catch up!
o
Not content to watch only one Star Wars film in the company of one of its principal cast members this year, we made our way to the Paramount Lot in Hollywood on November 6th for a special California State Parks Film Series screening of that wacky California-based production, Return of the Jedi!
o
Maren, with a Darth Maul face painting. She was very excited, as this was her first time seeing a Star Wars movie on the big screen!

o
Hey, how did I get in the movie with those guys?? Looks like we're in peril again.

o
In front of Maren and I are Jack, Suanne and Natalie. Suanne is the ultimate good sport, having gone with her husband and our fellow Star Wars nut Steve to to Star Wars Celebration V in Florida and now this, despite not feeling the Force quite the same way we do.

o
Billy Dee was there! He introduced the movie. No scarf this time, though.

o
The movie ended and Mr. Mark Hamill was on hand for a Q & A. Here he helps the California State Parks Spokesguy make an announcement using his lapel mike.

o
A few pics of Mark, a great guy and the ultimate Star Wars storyteller:

o
All done! Here's Maren, ready for her close up.

o
Derek and Steve, Making Their Dreams Come True! (We strongly felt the presence of Laverne and Shirley, who shot the iconic "schlemiel, schlemazel" opening to their famous sitcom at this location.)

o
Steve!

o
Maren again... hey, that shirt looks familiar!

o
The same vintage Empire Strikes Back shirt in 1980: here's me with Kristy Gregory on the last day of 5th grade.

o
Went to our traditional post-Star Wars screening restaurant for some fine dining after the show.
o
Still getting unpacked here at the new house... we'll try to post some CCB Fun Fest coverage in the next few days! Thanks for being patient!

Wow! That shirt looks like it is in great shape, considering how old it is. And Maren looks so much like you, Terri!! No wonder I call her Terri all the time.

Deacon looks like he had the same reaction to the film as I did.
