The Original Flash Mob Choir! - 12/14/86

Yesterday after posting the Hallelujah Chorus Flash Mob video, I got to thinking about my high school choir, and how we used to wander around downtown Sacramento, where we'd break into song at every opportunity.

Here are (most of) the '86-'87 Bella Vista Madrigals on the steps of the Crocker Art Museum on December 14, 1986!

Check back soon for another MADS video!

I was in the Mads group the year after, but we still did "Deck the Halls" in 12/8. I sing it every year to myself and my children think I'm crazy! Thanks for posting Terri!

You're welcome guys!! So neat to hear from you! (I know I should get back on Facebook.) I know what you mean, that's the version I always end up singing. The Alto part. There's no way you can sing a regular "Deck the Halls" after that! :)

Lynn! Hi!

I'm looking for it... no guarantees, but I'll see if I have it. It's very funny, and if I'm not mistaken, we did that at your birthday party. I hope I can find it - I'll keep you posted! :)

I think I was Quincy Jones, too... Laur definitely gave an iconic performance as Stevie Wonder. My first search through the VHS archives was unsuccessful. I know I have it somewhere, though... hopefully it'll turn up soon!!
