The neighbors were blessed, the Gospel was shared, and the lightsabers were glowing! What could be cooler than a big
Star Wars party at church?
oSaturday night, 10/31. Rebel Trooper Guy/Derek was in charge of the Jedi Training Academy.
oThis picture doesn't do it justice, but I have to tell you, our 6' 6" Darth Vader was an
awesome sight when he emerged from the fog!!
oRunning the show.
oReady to fight!
oThe Alff Padawans get a shot at the big guy. Here's Deacon, who was proud to represent hutts everywhere with his valiant effort.

o
Maren's turn.

o
Victory!
o
Pastor Tim, Derek and... I'm sure there was a fuzzy white bunny alien somewhere in the cantina.

Update 5:09 pm 11/3/09: More information about Jaxxon, the
Star Wars Rabbit Guy, can be found
here.
o
Fresh from defeating Darth Vader, Maren got to hang out with the magician and his duck.
oBetter than a lightsaber? It's blue, and it can make as much of a mess.
oReady to save the galaxy.
o
oo
Princess Suanne on the face painting planet!
oMaren gets a rainbow.
oNot very
Star Wars-y, but we'll let it slide.
oDarth Cacciatore, unmasked, in the Cantina.
oImpressive, most impressive. Master Pastor Brian put the whole event together!
oA final shot of the Jedi Training Academy gang...
o
And here are the Alffs, supposedly in character. (Mommy was supposed to be a Mos Eisley Cantina lady.)
o
Update 5:19 am 11/6: Forgot this pic of Maren from 10/31. She was done for the day.
I think that wraps up our coverage of Fun Fest 2009! May the Force be with you!

We love you Jenny!!!
My obscure character's name was Jenny. She was cut out of the movie, except for one wide shot in which she can be seen talking to Greedo.
Well, there was that rabbit dude that was in the original Star Wars comic book series starting with issue #7.
Now I've spent my whole afternoon reading summaries of SW Marvel Comics on Wookieepedia.
According to my Wookieepedia entry, I am "a quick-witted individual with a street smart personality and a quick temper."
Sorry, it was actually issue #8. It's been a long time.
