Calm Before the (Next) Storm

While we look back on TERRORSTORM and brace for STORM OF DEATH tonight, we pause to admire the resilience of children.

Following last night's events, the kids are in survival mode - comforted by the gently calming, subtle humor of...

Spongebob Squarepants.

Ha ha...Spongebob is deep...think about the square pants and you'll see what I mean.

I loved the coverage on Derek's heroics. What a guy...he even remembered to water the lawn...and was wearing flip flops. However, I saw no technical saves. Hmm.

Mom is studying this commenting process because I think she may want to jump into the fray.

Kay's contribution to the Big Storm was..."don't go out of the house or you may die".

She says she didn't say that.

Yeh, right.

Hugs,

I'd have said that, too, after watching the slidewhow on the KCRA website. So many giant fallen trees! Of course, they always seemed to fall on someone's house or car, so maybe out in the streets was actually the safest place to be! :)
