Disneyland!

Deacon didn't have school Thursday or Friday this week, and since today is Derek's birthday, we decided to take the kids to Disneyland and stay overnight in Anaheim. We stayed in a kids' suite at the Desert Palms Hotel, and the kids were SO excited! Here they are in a cupboard under the bed... better than any ride at Disneyland!

The line for the new Finding Nemo Submarine Ride... during the summer, the wait was 4 hours. Yesterday, it was only an hour.

We ate at the Golden Horseshoe and saw Billy Hill and the Hillbillies!

Maren buried her head like this during almost all of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. At least she didn't scream, "I want to go home!!" like she did on the same ride in January!

For some reason, Maren met the height requirement for Splash Mountain and insisted on going on the ride. Here they are in the automatic picture snapped during the big dip, and immediately afterward!

Maren got to sit up high on the boat and assist the Storybook Land guide. When the guide asked for her name, of course Maren said, "The Queen of America."

Maren was happy to finally be on the ride she had been requesting all day... Dumbo! It was the last ride of the day!
