Thanksgiving 2007

Happy Black Friday, everyone! We had a GREAT time yesterday with the Ross family – Michael, Carol, Jessica, William, David, and Carol's Auntie Eleanor. Deacon summed it up this morning when he told me that “yesterday was the best day – it was wild fun.”

The day starts with a 20 pound turkey and stick of butter... Mmmmm.

The kids' table! Of course the Alff kids chose the traditional Thanksgiving Mac-n-Cheese and dinosaur chicken nuggets... but mainly they ate cookies and pumpkin pie.

Cool napkin rings! So, did you do all the cooking Tereeee? I'm impressed!

We had a little wild fun of our own with Chase Manhattan and Daino. They proceeded to climb over the divider between the kitchen table and the living room...making tremendous jumps from the railing. I felt that was a bit inappropriate, but your mom and dad rolled with it. Apparently, you guys have broken them in.

The dinner was delicious, as always. I ate way too much. Wish you guys had been there. It would have been super wild fun!

Glad you guys had fun, too -- sorry we couldn't make it this year! Next year we'll have to join the kids and jump off the wall, too! :)
