Truth be told, he was there to sign copies of his new children's book, When I Grow Up.

We're big fans of Al, so it was a thrill for us to meet him. He couldn't have been nicer!

Also on hand, because we have a long and illustrious history of waiting in long lines with them: the Kwants!

I'm still trying to get the promised Superbowl post together... hopefully in the next few days!

I am soooo jealous. He is one of my favorite artists. You are so very cool now, even more cool than before!
So cool. Your lives are so exciting and celebrity filled. Our lives are so mundane we (Sacramentans) try to clam Timothy Busfield as our own, however I've never seen him here. We will continue to live vicariously through you (and catch Weird Al at the next State Fair).
Did you ask him when the sequel to "UHF" is coming out?
I am KICKING myself about the UHF sequel question, because I realized later also present at the Costco book signing was none other than Al's manager Jay Levey - the director of UHF.
Right there in front of the vacuum cleaners & rice cookers.
