The William S. Hart house/museum
This ain't your house, varmint.
The tables are turned!
Waiting for the guided tour.
William S. Hart on his favorite horse, Fritz.
Our guide, Ron, gives us the grand tour.
Derek and the kids admired this original painting...
...while I admired the fact that someone could keep this very old bathroom so clean!
The kids pause to pay their respects at the dog graveyard.
Then... a trip to the gift shop!
Afterward we went to that very western-themed restaurant, Mimi's Cafe, for some grub.

I like the way Deacon's strutting around the gift shop...looks like he's not messin' around.
Right, he's like a cross between Pancho Villa and Tom Selleck.
Tom Selleck always frightened me.
As clearly illustrated by the picture sequence, 'twas him what drew first; then the tables was turned.
"I was just walking down the street, and I heard a voice behind me say 'Reach for it, mister.' I spun around and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year-old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away..."
"Well...back in '56, my folks and I were part of this long wagon train...movin' West..."
